Ice Cream & Bubbles

We have been working with Arin on potty training. We are having slow progress. She understands what to do, but just doesn't care to do it very often. A few weeks ago, we took her for ice cream. The local ice cream shop has a bubble machine on top of their building. Arin had so much fun there that she has been talking about it regularly ever since. So this week, we told her that if she used the potty every day, then we would take her for ice cream and bubbles. Some days went better than others. Somedays she went four times and somedays only once, but nonetheless, she went every day, which is a new record for her. So tonight, we took her. Also, the ice cream shop is awesome, because they give all kids 40" and under a free ice cream cone - can't beat that! She really had a great time with this and we told her if she continues to use the potty we will take her again, although we didn't set a specific time limit this time.
