Planets

Andy's parents recently gave Arin a model of the solar system. Today, Andy and Arin hung it up together. It did not come with a model of the sun, so they used the smoke detector to represent it (that is what Arin is pointing to). She is very excited to have the planets hanging in her room. She is also learning the names of the planets in order tonight. She should have them memorized before long!

Unplug Your Kids: Sun

This week's Unplugged theme is sun. We haven't participated in Unplug Your Kids recently, but when I saw this week's theme, I remembered a simple project that I wanted to do with Arin. We painted her hand yellow and she made a handprint sun.
