Yesterday, Andy and Arin picked all the rest of the oranges off of our tree. Andy let Arin climb up the ladder and help with the picking. I watched from the window. It was very cute. Too cold to take Ella outside, so I didn't get any pictures of Arin climbing the ladder.
They brought the bags of oranges inside. The oranges were a little past their prime for eating, but still very sweet, so we juiced them. Andy put them in one side of the sink and set up the other side of the sink with water. Arin washed the oranges, I cut the oranges and Andy juiced them. It was a fun little assembly line. Everytime the juicer would get full, we'd do a juice taste test. Eventually Arin started doing an orange taste test. She probably ate three or four whole oranges in the process. She is really going to miss having the oranges readily on hand to eat, but it'll be something to look forward to next season!
