This morning, Andy and his oldest brother, Mike, and Mike's brother-in-law, Corey, went skydiving for the first time. They went tandem with an instructor. Andy's instructor had done over 4,000 jumps. I didn't ask the other instructors how many they had done. They jumped out of the plane at 13,500 feet. They did a freefall for about 60 seconds. Then, at 5,000 feet, Andy was able to pull the cord to his parachute. They were in the sky about 7 or 8 minutes total before landing safely on the ground. They said it was such an awesome experience and they can't wait to try it again.
