Mommy: Why do you like Mother's Day?
Arin: Because, I love to make you cards and everything.
Mommy: Why did God make mothers?
Arin: Because, that's part of our family!
Mommy: What are mothers made of?
Arin: skin and hair and teeth
Mommy: What do mothers do?
Arin: Clean-up when we make a mess, clean-up dirty diapers, and get something for their kids when they are hungry.
Mommy: What kinds of foods do you like your mommy to make?
Arin: quesadillas, pizza and cream cheese muffins
Mommy: What's the best thing about a mommy?
Arin: She plays with us n- something we like, like tag or hide-and-seek
Mommy: If you could change something about your mommy, what would it be?
Arin: (whose eyes lit up at this question) Oh, I would make her a princess!! (yes, please!)
Mommy: What do mommies do in their spare time for fun?
Arin: Play, play, play!

That was so sweet, Cara! I love how the one thing she would change about you is to make you a princess. That brings tears to my eyes... We always think about negative things we don't like & that we'd change, but leave it up to an innocent child to say something so precious. Wow. They are such gifts from God!
